The Polish company ONDE, specialized in the construction and development of renewable energy projects, is expanding its operations to Romania. With over 450 completed projects and a total installed capacity of approximately 4.8 GW, ONDE believes that the Polish market has become “too small” for its ambitions.
CEO Paweł Przybylski explained that the expansion is part of a broader internationalization strategy, with the company targeting European markets that have high growth potential. Romania is one of these destinations, thanks to government plans for renewable energy development and the growing interest in green investments.
ONDE plans to take part in wind farm, photovoltaic, and energy storage projects, contributing to the country’s energy transition. By 2030, Romania aims to add around 10 GW of new green capacity, an ideal context for the company’s entry into the market.
Part of the Erbud Group and listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, ONDE recorded a turnover of approximately €189 million last year, providing it with solid resources to support its regional expansion.
