Solar Global Group
The Global Solar Group has been active in the renewable energy field for over 15 years. We were among the first companies to focus on the research and development of large-scale storage capacities, which solve a wide range of issues associated with renewable energy production. Thus, we proudly consider ourselves pioneers in the field of large-scale storage capacities, green hydrogen production, and aggregation activities throughout Central Europe.
Solar Global Projects
Solar Global a.s. is the main Czech producer of renewable energy from solar sources, operating 57 photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 75 MWp. The company also operates internationally, particularly in Romania, as well as in Spain and Germany. Like in the Czech Republic, on the Romanian market, the company handles the development and construction of photovoltaic power plants, as well as their operation and subsequent maintenance.

Solar Global Romania
Solar Global Romania a.s., one of the companies within the Solar Global Group, was established specifically for operations and development in the Romanian market. Its Romanian subsidiary, SGROM ONE SRL, serves as the “parent company” for all Solar Global projects in Romania.
Solar Global Romania a.s. entered the Romanian market in 2021 with its first project, CEF GEACA, with an installed capacity of 3.5 MWp. This project utilizes 540W bifacial panels mounted on a single-axis tracker structure.
Projects in Romania
Currently, the Romanian branch, SGROM ONE SRL, has medium-sized projects underway, each up to 6 MWp, at various development stages, with a total capacity of 91 MWp. These projects are primarily located in the Banat and Moldova regions, specifically in the counties of Timiș, Arad, Caraș Severin, Hunedoara, Suceava, Neamț, Botoșani, and Cluj. In Romania, we especially target projects using single-axis tracker technology, which is much more efficient than fixed structures, such as those oriented south or east-west.
